Anxiety manifests in different ways and can be detrimental to our mental and spiritual health. Desiree shares a message on releasing anxiety for a sound mind with practical steps and prayers.

 

Anxiety, worry and fear are just as much of a pandemic as COVID is right now. It runs ramped and doesn’t hold prejudice- taking hold of anyone giving it an inch of room in their minds.

This is why it’s so important to discuss anxiety and also pray against it any chance you can so that you can have a peaceful and sound mind. Today’s episode I talk about anxiety, the verses that equip me to live a life of peace and encouragement to take the first steps to overcoming any worry, fear, anxiety.

2 Timothy 1:7- For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Isaiah 26:3- You will keep him in perfect peace,Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

  • How I overcome any negative feelings or overwhelm in my life daily.

  • When we allow our minds to wander we give it too much freedom for negativity to enter in. When the thoughts do creep in and create anxiety, we push out peace.

  • To obtain peace of mind, especially for many in this day of age, can be challenging but just like anything it needs to be practiced daily. 

  • I share many obtainable ways to start living each day with a sound mind and activities that will help clear your mind to start fresh.

Question:

Is my worry or fear keeping me from living out a life of purpose? Are my thoughts being consumed by negativity?

Action:

Every time a worry or fearful thought creep into mind, try to stop before it consumes, take a deep breath, and say 2 Timothy 1:7 over and over for the power to live in peace.
